Synopsis

The Malpelo marine sanctuary is one of the planet’s most biodiverse oceanic regions. Sharks are considered the guardians of this ecosystem for being at the top of the food chain. Indiscriminate overfishing and de-finning of sharks threaten the delicate ecologic balance of this sanctuary.
