Synopsis

Like many other indigenous communities in the Amazon of Colombia¸ the Yucuna from Puerto Córdoba¸ Amerú¸ prepare an ancestral ritual. This ritual will allow them to reinforce the bonds within their community and to preserve old traditions¸ which are alive in their memories¸ as part of a renewed effort of cultural self-determination. But this time¸ the event has an additional ingredient: the documentary crew takes active part and gets involved into another ritual. The encounter of two cultures becomes the narrative line¸ producing surprising interchanges
