EL SUEÑO PERFECTO

EL SUEÑO PERFECTO

Synopsis

A hyperrealistic film between documentary and Hollywood 70´s TV cops series¸ involving the experience of a team of film makers. A Colombian film crew gets to an orphanage of a German small town¸ where a group of young immigrants live. Despite the many obstacles¸ -the different languages to start with- everyone wants to make a film. As the work begins¸ the film makers get involved in the youngsters´ lives¸ discovering the sadness and complexities in their daily routine¸ whose habits have been borrowed from the North American gangster rap movement. The facts are interwoven with the story of the feature film they all are making. A sophisticated gang wants to get out of the drugs business¸ but they want to gain the advantage. So they set a trap to their French clients in what is going to be their last deal. What they do not know is the fact that the French had already taken some measures and the gangsters will not get out so easily. Finally¸ the youngsters get trapped in an old theatre and will have to face the police to escape. Fiction and reality seems to lead them to the same destiny.
