SAPCINE is designed to develop and strengthen Ibero-American feature film projects in advanced stages of development or post-production. Throughout the year, this event rolls out four strategic components aimed at boosting and supporting these projects. Held as part of the Cali International Film Festival (FICCALI), it brings together creators, educators, mentors, and partners in both academic and market-driven settings.

Over 60 allies from the film industry ecosystem join forces to support participating projects, addressing their needs according to their stage of development. These collaborations range from co-productions, with Colombia as a minority partner, to post-production teams and services, opening doors for collaboration and new opportunities within the industry. In addition, SAPCINE LAB offers a virtual space for continuous mentoring on aspects such as production, distribution, and copyright. Meanwhile, SAPCINE Continued and SAPCINE Seedbed foster long-term growth and the inclusion of new talents.
