Description

It is a grand marathon of the audiovisual imagination, divided into filmmaking and screening sections.

In the FILMMAKING MARATHON, all previously registered participants will be able to tell stories with any kind of camera that creates visual records (including digital photographic cameras, cell phones, and webcams) over one weekend (August 1 to 3). Professional and amateur filmmakers from 25 Colombian cities (Bogota, Medellin, Cali, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Cucuta, Ibague, Bucaramanga, Pereira, Villavicencio, Monteria, Pasto, Manizales, Buenaventura, Neiva, Armenia, Popayan, Sincelejo, Tunja, Florence, Leticia, Yopal, Quibdo, Cerete and Plato) will simultaneously compete to make the best 60-second sequence shot, capable of telling the best story ever told in one minute.

Meanwhile, the SCREENING MARATHON is designed to show the best of young Colombian film for 6 consecutive hours, simultaneously in the same 25 cities.
