Ventana Sur, organized by the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) and the Marché du Film of the Cannes Film Festival, stands as Latin America's premier market for audiovisual content. The initiative brings together different players in the audiovisual industry to promote co-production, financing, and international distribution of Latin American content. Each year, the event welcomes 3,000 accredited participants, including more than 250 buyers and sellers from around the world and representatives from major international networks and platforms. At the market, they can meet with content producers in business rounds, pitching sessions, and one-on-one meetings; they also have access to round tables, specific activities for producers with projects in development, workshops, talks, and conferences spotlighting current issues and future prospects.

Across its various sections, Ventana Sur promotes Latin American content of all formats and genres (fiction, documentary, animation, fantasy, Latin American queer), offering a wide range of business and promotional opportunities unique to the region.

El Principio del Film (The Beginning of Film) offers quality stories to audiovisual producers and investors through a selection of unpublished scripts to promote the talent of regional authors and facilitate production agreements. The selected projects have been developed by prestigious laboratories, official cultural organizations, and film institutes in Latin America. In this edition, Colombia is represented by Ángel eléctrico(Electric Angel) by Carlos Franco Esguerra and Carroloco by Robert Brand Ordóñez.

The Colombian productions Semillas (Seeds) by Eliana Niño, Selva (Jungle) by Juan Miguel Gelacio and Esteban Hoyos, and Soy Múcura (I am Múcura) by Nina Marín will take part in Primer Corte, a dedicated section highlighting Latin American feature films in post-production.

Fantásmática (Fantasmatic), a new space for short animation projects in the fantasy genre, aims to highlight talented filmmakers who combine the creativity and magic of animation with the intensity of the fantasy and horror genres. This initiative, backed by the Animation! and Blood Window sections, seeks to foster collaboration and exchange between animation and fantasy film professionals. Entreverao by Miguel Otálora and A-347 by Milton Andrés Cruz Rojas are the participating Colombian projects.

Blood Window LAB brings together filmmakers and producers who have projects in the developmental stage. It facilitates their participation in a co-production meeting and pitch sessions with mentors specialized in fantasy cinema. Al Final de la Noche (At the End of the Night) by Jorge Navas, produced by Jorge Forero of Marginal Cine, will be part of this exchange.

Proyecta, the joint initiative of Ventana Sur, the Marché du Film, and the San Sebastian Festival, announced the 15 feature-length audiovisual projects in development seeking co-production, including Malmirada by Cristina Sánchez Salamanca, Eva by William Reyes and Roberto y los Comediantes (Roberto and the Comedians) by Verónica Font Alfaro.

Colombian projects Aquí me Quedo (Here I Stay) by Obeida Benavides, produced by Primera Persona, and Los Pasajeros del Último Viaje (The Passengers of the Last Journey) by Marta María Borrás will take part in Punto Género (Gender Point), Ventana Sur's platform dedicated to promoting productions by women and non-binary individuals in Latin America.

Animation! is the exclusive space dedicated to animation. Representing Colombia in this edition is Astropackers by Luisa Fernanda Velásquez and Felipe Rodríguez (Caballo Loco Studio).

SoloSerieS, a marketplace showcasing notable series and micro-series projects in Latin America, is a key space for engaging with showrunners, screenwriters, and series producers in the region to forge strategic alliances. Impermanentes (Impermanents) by Laura Otalora has been selected for this platform.

DocSur, aimed at showcasing Latin American documentary films and projects to various industry stakeholders such as sales agents, creative producers, aid funds, and international programmers, selected two Colombian projects in its feature films in the post-production section: En Aguas Profundas Viaja un Sueño (In Deep Waters a Dream Travels) by Inti Jacanamijoy (Marginal Cine), and Ahora Aquí: Ningún Lugar (Now here: No Place) by Daniela Giraldo Suárez and Alexander Arbeláez Osorio (Camello Audiovisual).

Finally, Zenú, directed by Greg Johan Méndez López of Laima Productions, is set to participate in Show Shorts. In this exclusive space, Ibero-American directors meet to compete, share, improve, and promote their short films.

The delegation selected through Semilleros DACMI, an initiative of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Knowledge, in collaboration with Proimágenes Colombia, will include Jacqueline Esther Hernández López, Carlos Alberto Mogollón Fuentes, Mayra Yineth Maturana Lemos, Nadia Sulay Escobar Bastos, and Juan Sebastián Arias Carvajal.
