The national delegation is part of the Comprehensive Plan for the International Promotion of Colombian Cinema led by Proimágenes Colombia, which seeks to strengthen partnerships and raise the profile of Colombian talent on the global audiovisual scene. Colombias booth will be located at #136 in the International Village.
The 79th Cannes Film Festival will take place from May 12 to 23, with *Pelotón Trueno*, directed by Theo Montoya, competing in the Official Short Film Competition. This week, it was announced that Mauricio Leiva-Cocks project Los Eastman was selected for the Round Robin at the Fantastic Pavilion, as part of the Marché du Film. Un Amor Inevitable and La Marcha del Hambre are set to premier
Un amor inevitable, directed by Mauro Mauad, will be released nationwide on May 13. La marcha del hambre, a documentary directed by Sorany Marín Trejos, will premiere on May 14.
The 26th edition of the event will take place from June 10 to 15 in Sheffield, England, featuring La sed del viento (Canada, Colombia), directed by Alejandro Valbuena; Cuba y la noche (Spain, Colombia, Cuba), directed by Sergio Fernández Borras; and Anatomía de un retrato, by Juan Felipe León.
The Bogotá Audiovisual Market (BAM) is now accepting registrations for its 17th edition, which will take place from July 6 to 10 in Bogotá. The Early Bird rate is available from April 30 to May 31, while the Regular Fee is available from June 1 to 30.

These recognitions positioned Colombian projects among the most prominent at the Latin American audiovisual market.

The 12th edition of MIP Cancun took place in Mexico from November 18 to 21, bringing together audiovisual professionals focused on expanding the circulation and development of television projects.
