LALY MALAGÓN VARGAS
Filmmaker from Colombia. Social communicator and journalist from the Universidad del Norte. She began her career in 2014 as a non-fiction serial editor for TV and consolidated herself as director of documentary short films. In 2019 she studied film direction at Congo Films School, awarded a scholarship by the Ministry of Culture. There she directs her first fiction shortfilm, Los Pájaros de Sara. She has directed some documentaries shortfilms as Las mujeres del Buen Pastor and Trenzar y vivir, and regional TV shows as Veteranos.
