ALEXANDER ARBELÁEZ
Monociclo Cine is a young production company based in Medellín (Colombia), focused on the development and production of films. Its members have been working together since 2009. In 2016 they released their first feature film Los nadie which opened the 56th FICCI and won the audience award in the 31th Venice Film Festival's Critics' Week. Their last short film Swamp has been selected at the festivals of Venice 2017, Sundance, Clermont Ferrand 2018 and among many others. They are currently working on the postproduction of the second feature film of Juan Sebastian Mesa, La Roya (The Rust), written in the Residence of the Cinéfondation de Cannes. They also have begun to produce new local talents, such as Yennifer Uribe with her first feature film called Sandra.
