JUAN PABLO CASTRILLÓN
Desvío Visual was created more than seven years ago by director Theo Montoya and producer Juan Pablo Castrillón, initially as a laboratory to realize projects beyond the classroom, portray the irreverence of youth, experiment and shoot freely.
In 2018, Desvío Visual won the Fund for the Cinematographic Development of Colombia with the short film Son of Sodom, which premiered at Cannes Film Festival's Short Film Competition in October 2020 and two foreign companies got together to co-produce Desvio's and director Montoya's first feature film, Anhell69. This feature film won the Tribeca All Access fund and the IDFA Bertha Fund Europe Co-production in 2020.
