REBELLION
An investigation into the creative genius of Joe Arroyo, one of the most important salsa singers in Colombia and the world, died prematurely in 2011 at the age of 56, after a life tormented by the passion for music and drugs. His greatest success was Rebelión, a hymn to the black race that speaks of the emancipation of the slaves in Cartagena in the seventeenth century.
