Ana goes to Colombia unexpectedly for a few days to spend the weekend with her grandma Lucia in the country house. Julia, Ana's mother, a writer in her sixties with whom she has never had a good relationship, greets her there. The interactions among the three of them are uneasy. A family secret stops them from resolving their issues, so this weekend will be the chance, at long last, to mend wounds from many generations past.
