Synopsis

Birds singing greet a rainy day on the Aburr? Valley. Workers and students take buses to reach their daily labours. On one of the hills surrounding the city¸ Mario milks a cow to feed his family at an ecological farm. “?How´s Medell?n this morning?”¸ an early radio show wakes the valley¸ as an anticipation of the urban concert that will raise with the day. Margarita works on the house trade business. Guillermo works his body at the billiard table¸ while Mario´s family scratches the land to feed an entire city¸ through stores like “Col y Flor”. Noon¸ lunchtime: vegetables are washed¸ people fill the restaurants. The news talk about violent attacks¸ attempts that leave the streets full of blood. A cloudy sky run from the buildings windows. Spider webs fall from electric cables¸ pulled by water flowing to the sewer system. The afternoon meets Margarita at a sewing room¸ sharing stories with her friends. A boxer dressed in yellow¸ blue and red fights a phantom in the street. Corner of Oriental with Playa: lots of retired men drink tinto and speak their mind. Mario says he´s worried about his children education¸ which does not invite them to stay in the country. At dusk¸ the city´s sound reaches it´s climax¸ leaving space for a new moon.
