Synopsis

The life of the small town of Iscuandé, Colombia, is dominated by soccer. The locals, critics and connoisseurs of both local and internacional league championships, lose all objectivity when there is match between the teams that divide their passions: “Nacional” and “America”. Everything is altered when the match is on: their everyday lives of fishing, visiting each other, commenting on women, or tilling the mistreated lands. Through a singular event we get a glimpse of the culture and folklore of the region and how it confronts poverty and neglect.
