Synopsis
At the heart of the tortuous paramilitary demobilization process in Colombia, and amidst doubts, excesses and impunity, a story of resistance develops: the simple, deep and personal story of Soraya Palacios. A courageous mother of six, she is displaced from Puente América (Chocó) after the paramilitary kills her husband Simón. Eight years later, Soraya is living in in a very poor district of Turbo (Antioquia), struggling to survive and to give a better future to her family, armed with the formidable strength that comes from her love.
