Synopsis

The finals of the international Bolaetrapo (Ragball) tournament, a popular street football game, reach their climax when suddenly Bam Bam de la Guerrero, captain of the Mexican team, brutally strikes Nutria, a figure of the Colombian team, and leaves him unconscious. This is how, through an enigmatic narrating voice, a great flashback takes us back in time to delve deeply into the story of Nutria, the best Bolaetrapo player of the region. His eagerness to conquer the tournament and to inspire love in Laurita, a beautiful cheerleader from the district, will bring him face to face with his greatest rival in the game field and in love, Bam Bam de la Guerrero and his Mexican team. In turn, Bam Bam ́s story starts the moment he decides to leave everything behind, selling the family taco business in the Guerrero Colony of Mexico City, to embark in the adventure of his life: the Bolaetrapo World Cup. He too, bent on the illusion of winning the tournament and conquering Laurita, will have to live extreme situations to the end. But he is not the only one willing to sacrifice everything in order to win the World Cup. With the other teams from around the world fighting to win the trophy, the moment has come to define who will be the one and only champion.
