Synopsis
From his research in psychopharmacology during the 70’s, Roger, a cutting-edge scientist, discovered how to extract memories from his brain and store them as lucid experiences contained in black pills. In 1986, Roger, now a middle-aged, conflicted man, is building a library of pills, comprised of recordings of fruitless relationships and meaningless sexual encounters. He lives alone in an apartment transformed into a laboratory and compulsively eats memory pills to relive his earlier excesses. He becomes progressively detached from the present and is addicted to a memory, “My last Day with Anna”, a woman with whom he once had a deep emotional connection with.
