Synopsis

Documentary tells the story of four siblings living in "Altos de Cazucá", a neighborhood that is home to the largest population of displaced people in Colombia. The film follows the Chavistá siblings (Carolina, Maxi, Leidy and Cristian) through three important times in their lives, from childhood through adolescence to adulthood. It shows the contrast between their hardships and happiness in one of the poorest and most depressed sectors, a group of subnormal neighborhoods that are located in the periphery of Bogotá and that house approximately 18.000 victims of the conflict in Colombia. The film shows the struggle for survival in a country that is characterized by social inequality, where in the midst of adversity, the true riches of the human being, values such as love, solidarity and family union, become the strength and fortune of the protagonists.
