Synopsis

Valentina is a Russian cosmonaut who is summoned by the Cuban Space Confederation to an agricultural expedition to Mars through a letter that arrives 30 years late. Without noticing the date on the letter, she arrives in the textile village of Ariguanabo, Cuba with the illusion of fulfilling her dream of returning to space for the last time. She finds a town in ruins, with an environmental crisis of water shortage and the extinction of many plants. Her obsession makes her ignore the real situation of the place, insisting that she will not return to space.
