Carlos Franco
Scriptwriter, storyteller, dramatic advisor and university professor. A graduate from the International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños, in Cuba. Has been awarded six times the Script Development grant from the Colombian Film Fund
with Edificio Royal (2013), Chasing Fireflies (2013), El Faro (2013), Ruido Rosa (2014) and developing feature films El Paraíso (2015) y Tan Lejos Como Puedas (2015). Also, he won the National Short Story Award by La Cueva Foundation in 2011. He is the author of the storybook Cazando Luciérnagas, that won the National Literature Prize from Mincultura in 2012. He is currently a Professor of Cinema at the Universidad del Magdalena.
