Description
La Sur Real is a film festival dedicated to screening short films made in the Global South that offer a decolonial interpretation of these territories -primarily Abya Yala- and champion indigenous and emancipatory knowledge. La Sur Real seeks cinematic works that offer a critique of the relationship between the Global North and the Global South, challenge patriarchal white supremacy, and present contexts that dismantle normative Western precepts.
