Description
In eleven years of uninterrupted work in the territory, FICFUSA Fusagasugá International Film Festival has positioned itself as a leader in the creative and cultural ecosystem of the southeast of Cundinamarca, working on two thematic lines: Women and territory; and four lines of action: Training, exhibition, circulation and creation.
It has achieved the creation and formation of new audiences that dialogue around cinema, dialogue that also promotes the regional talent of women, youth, students, peasants and environmentalists, through the strategies: film forums in schools, audiovisual workshops in rural areas and FICFUSA to the neighborhood, FICFUSA to the sidewalk and FICFUSA cinema to the river.
As a festival with a gender focus, it exhibits films without gender bias or prejudice. In addition, the work team is composed mostly by women from Fusagasugá.
