Theo Montoya's Colombian documentary will participate in Venice International Critics' Week from August 31 to September 10.

Four films in Brazil and two in France represent Colombia in the most recent editions of these two festivals.

During the 13th edition of the Bogota Audiovisual Market - BAM, a jury announced seven titles selected for the catalog of Colombian short films, an international promotion initiative of the Film Development Fund - FDC. Said works will be submitted to various international events to be screened at festivals over the next year.

The short film Los mayores ríos se deslizan bajo tierra (Underground rivers), by Simón Vélez, and Iván Argote as jury of the Flash Official Competition, represented the Colombian participation in the 33rd edition of FID Marseille.

During the 13th edition of the Bogota Audiovisual Market - BAM, Proimágenes Colombia and the General Directorate of Film and Audiovisuals of the Italian Ministry of Culture signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen relations between the audiovisual industries of both countries over the next three years.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Hollywood invited the filmmaker to join the organization in the producers' guild, which votes for the corresponding categories at the Oscar Awards.
