Igualada is set to compete at the 44th Sundance Film Festival from January 18 to 28. Meanwhile, Yo vi tres luces negras (I Saw Three Black Lights), a Film Development Fund (FDC) recipient for Feature Film Production, will be showcased at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival from February 15 to 25.

The film, directed by Fabián Hernández and Colombia's entry for the 96th Oscars, premiered in the United States on December 8.

Nine Colombian productions received awards at Latin America's top audiovisual market, organized by the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) and the Marché du Film of the Cannes Film Festival.

The Bogotá Short Film Festival and Bogoshorts Film Market announced the winners of the Santa Lucía awards.

From November 27 to December 1, the most important Latin American film market will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Eighteen Colombian productions will participate in the different sections of the event, while a national delegation of more than fifty people will attend the event.

The 11th edition of this event, celebrating the best of Colombian cinema, took place. Proimágenes Colombia, under the leadership of director Claudia Triana, was the first organization to receive the Macondo Honorary Award.
