With the Disney+ premiere of 20.000 leguas de viaje submarino (20,000 Leagues Under the Sea) on July 23, a project that received a CINA incentive for postproduction through TIS Studios, nearly 20 international productions supported by Law 1556 have been released across streaming platforms and theaters so far in 2025. Some have found notable success, such as Delirio (Delirium), an eight-episode adaptation of Laura Restrepo's novel, also produced by TIS Studios. After premiering on Netflix on July 18, the series broke into the platform's global Top 10 for most-watched non-English-language shows in less than a week, with 1.4 million views between July 18 and 20. It ranked in countries including Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, Uruguay, Venezuela, Hungary, Poland, and Romania.

Around the same time, on July 17, Colombian theaters premiered Shadow Force: sentencia de muerte (Shadow Force: Death Sentence), which had opened in the United States on May 9. The film stars Natalia Reyes alongside Kerry Washington and Omar Sy, and was directed by Joe Carnahan. It was shot in multiple Colombian locations, including Bogotá, Medellín, Cartagena, and the Rosario Islands, and produced by Dynamo for Lionsgate.

Since July 11, Prime Video has been streaming COPES: Comandos de Élite (COPES: Elite Commandos), a documentary series produced with the support of TIS Studios. On July 9, Disney+ premiered El clan Olimpia (The Olympia Clan), produced by 64A Films, shot in Barranquilla, and starring Zaira Romero. On July 2, Dora y la búsqueda del Sol Dorado (Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado) debuted on Nickelodeon and Paramount+, produced by TIS Studios, marking the second live-action installment of the hit animated franchise Dora la Exploradora (Dora the Explorer). Directed by Alberto Belli and starring Samantha Lorraine, the film was shot in Bogotá, Cundinamarca, Antioquia, and the Río Claro nature reserve.

On June 4, Netflix released the third season of La primera vez (The First Time), produced by Caracol Televisión. It became the first Colombian series to reach three seasons on the platform. Upon its release, it quickly rose as the most-watched Colombian series on Netflix, topping the national charts for several consecutive weeks and breaking into the Global Top 10 with over 12.8 million hours viewed in its second week. It also appeared on the most-watched lists across multiple Latin American countries. Thanks to this success, a fourth season has already been confirmed for next year.

On June 18, Netflix also launched the fourth season of Rosario Tijeras, which received a CINA incentive for postproduction through Teleset.

On May 30, Prime Video premiered El novicio rebelde (The Rebellious Novice), a series shot in Colombia, produced by Rhayuela Films and Punta Fina, and directed by Rodrigo Triana. Starring comedian Hassam alongside Paola Rey, the comedy was filmed in traditional Bogotá neighborhoods such as Santa Inés, El Milagro, and Bosque Real.

All of these titles add to the premieres from the first four months of the year, including Netflix series Medusa and Escupiré sobre sus tumbas (Until You Burn), the feature films The Luckiest Man in America and Rosario, the MTV reality show Ex en la Playa: México (Ex on the Beach: Mexico) available on Paramount+, the Disney+ series Champeta, el ritmo de la tierra (Champeta, Rhythm of the Earth), and the equestrian simulation video game Rival Stars Horse Racing.

Looking ahead to late 2025 and into 2026, the release calendar for productions supported by the two mechanisms of Law 1556 includes the second season of Consuelo; the final seasons of Cien años de soledad (One Hundred Years of Solitude), Perfil falso (Fake Profile), and Medusa; as well as the series Steelworks, Los 39 (The 39), Pecados inconfesables (Unspeakable Sins), Palacio (Palace), La huésped (The Guest), Estado de fuga (State of Escape), Simplemente Alicia (Simply Alicia), a docuseries on soccer player James Rodríguez, María la caprichosa (Capricious María), and the second season of Work It Out Wombats.
