Five Colombian productions received awards at BAFICI, the Toulouse International Film Festival and the UNAM International Film Festival.

In the 22nd edition of the Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival - BAFICI, where Colombia was represented by 6 short films and 2 feature films, she won Natalia Imery Almario's International Dopamina Official Competition (2020). The Colombian film received the ADF (Argentine Association of Film Photography Authors) award for Best Photography Direction.
 
Dopamine shows the reunion of Natalia's family after a decade, they talk about family ideas, homosexuality, ideological struggles and what has meant the advancement of the disease of Ricardo, Natalia's father. Prior to this recognition, it has participated in festivals such as Jihlava International Documentary, Torino Film festival, New Latin American Film Festival, Miradas Doc - International Documentary Film Festival, Lima PUCP Film Festival and the Cali Film Festival where it received the Jury Prize.
 
As for the Toulouse Latin American Film Festival, whose first part of its 33rd edition ended in March with a second phase to be held from 09 to 13 June, 12 Colombian productions are participating in six different categories. In the event, Diana Montenegro's co-production El alma quiere volar was the winner of the SFCC Critics' Award; while the CCAS prize - Electricity and Gas workers’ award and the RAIL D'OC prize — Railway workers prize was awarded to La ciudad de las fieras of  Henry Rincón; and Pacífico oscuro by Camila Beltrán received a Special Mention in the Short Film Competition.
 
Finally, in the third edition of Catapult Cine, the joint call of the Cultural Dissemination Coordination (Cultura UNAM), the UNAM International Film Festival (FICUNAM) and CATAPULT CINE, which seeks to stimulate and conclude author film projects of all genres and styles, far from tradition and close to innovation, From all over the world, Nuestra película by  Diana Bustamante received two awards in the Work in Progress section.
 
The Colombian film received the Cut2TheChase award which consists of consulting sessions in editing with the French studio and the 24/48 Award that awards 10 days of sound mixing at the Mexican studio.
 
In the 11th edition of the International Film Festival UNAM it participated in the non-competitive category Atlas the co-production (Colombia, Canada) Bicentennial of Pablo Álvarez Mesa (2020) and Pedro Adrián Zuluaga, Colombian journalist and writer, at the 9th Permanent Critics' Forum where it was part of the chair of displacement sedentary.

Kally's Mashup was filmed in Bogota

In April, the film Kally's Mashup A Very Kally Birthday! was filmed; a film based on Nickelodeon's Kally's Mashup series, which is supported by the Colombia Film Fund (FFC) and the production services of Laberinto Cine y TV. The film will be released this year in Nickelodeon Latin America and will be available on Paramount +.
